Consumer Price Index for October 2025 shows a 0.3% decrease in inflation

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in October 2025 increased to 118.25 units, with inflation decreasing by 0.3% compared to the previous month. Key changes observed in services, electricity, and agricultural products.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for October 2025 increased by 0.54 points, reaching 118.25 units, compared with 117.71 units in September 2025. Inflation in October 2025 decreased by 0.3%.

Compared with October 2024, the largest positive change was recorded in Services (3.0%), while the largest negative changes were observed in Electricity (-7.5%) and Agricultural Products (-2.6%).

Compared with September 2025, the largest change was in Electricity (1.7%).

Key category changes compared with October 2024 include decreases in Clothing and Footwear (-6.7%), Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages (-2.1%), and increases in Restaurants and Hotels (4.4%) and Education (3.5%).

In the period January–October 2025, compared with the same period in 2024, the largest changes were in Clothing and Footwear (-6.2%), Restaurants and Hotels (4.7%), Education (3.7%), and Recreation and Culture (3.3%).

The largest positive impact on CPI change in October 2025, compared with October 2024, was from Restaurants and Hotels (0.48 units) and Education (0.16 units). The largest negative impact was from Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages (-0.52 units) and Clothing and Footwear (-0.51 units).

Compared with September 2025, the largest impact was from Clothing and Footwear (0.25 units) and Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels (0.12 units). The largest positive impact on CPI change compared with October 2024 was from Catering Services (0.50 units), while the largest negative impacts were from Clothing (-0.43 units) and Electricity (-0.43 units).
