The Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) has announced that the submission deadline for applications to the 19th Cyprus Innovation Award has been extended to November 30, 2025. Applications can be submitted via the official website.
The award recognizes successful innovative ideas and practices in the primary sector, processing, services, and social innovation categories. It aims to honor companies that have implemented new products, services, or processes with substantial improvements.
The competition is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy and the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF). Since 2006, it has been a key initiative to promote innovation and competitiveness among Cypriot businesses.
This year, the award is expected to attract strong interest from companies seeking to enhance their visibility and leadership in a transforming economy. The winners will be recognized at a ceremony scheduled for the end of March 2026, attended by the President of Cyprus and EU officials.
The Innovation Award has been included in the European SME Week program of events, highlighting its recognition at the European level. The ceremony is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, emphasizing its high-level institutional support.
