The industrial turnover index rose by 5.6% in September 2025 compared to September 2024, reaching 151.8 units. The index increased by 4.2% for January–September 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
The Industrial Turnover Index for September 2025 reached 151.8 units (base 2021=100), recording an increase of 5.6% compared to September 2024. For the period January–September 2025, the index increased by 4.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
In manufacturing, the index reached 143.4 units, an increase of 9.6% compared to September 2024. The mining and quarrying sector increased by 8.5%. Decreases were observed in electricity supply (-6.0%) and water supply and materials recovery (-0.6%).
The index is compiled based on data collected from enterprises with a turnover of 2 million euros or more, or with 20 or more employees, and covers sectors B, C, D, and E of NACE Rev. 2 classification. The index reflects monthly changes relative to the 2021 average and is transmitted monthly to Eurostat.
