The turnover value index increased by 4.8% in wholesale trade and 7.6% in motor vehicle sales and repair during the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
The Turnover Value Index for Wholesale Trade (Division 46) during the third quarter of 2025 increased by 4.8% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
For the same period, the Turnover Value Index for Sales and Repair of Motor Vehicles (Division 45) increased by 7.6% compared to the same quarter of 2024.
Table 1 shows detailed indices for different activities, with overall wholesale and motor vehicle trade indices at 156.2 and 165.6 respectively, based on 2021=100.
Data collection is conducted monthly via telephone or email, starting five days after the reference period and completed within 45 days. The indices are calculated using 2021 as the base year, with quarterly changes expressed relative to the 2021 average.
