The Statistical Service published the January–October 2025 bulletin, covering key economic indicators including manufacturing, construction, vehicle registrations, inflation, trade, and tourism data.
The Statistical Service announced the publication of the bimonthly bulletin Monthly Economic Developments for the period January–October 2025. The bulletin includes the most significant economic developments for Cyprus during this period, along with comparative data for the last four years available until December 16, 2025.
The Trend component reflects the long-term evolution of economic series influenced by factors such as population growth, technological progress, and overall economic development.
Manufacturing production increased by 3.6% during January–September 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
The total area of building permits authorized reached 1,998.5 thousand square meters during January–August 2025, a 16.1% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Motor vehicle registrations increased by 4.2%, totaling 44,732 vehicles during January–October 2025. Private saloon cars numbered 29,706 (up 0.4%), and light goods vehicles reached 4,111 (up 6.6%) compared to the same period in 2024.
The Consumer Price Index rose by 0.3% during January–October 2025 compared to the previous year.
Total imports of goods amounted to €11,270.8 million, a 12.3% increase, while exports reached €4,616.1 million, up 4.3% during the same period.
Tourist arrivals totaled 4,142,534 from January to October 2025, an 11.1% increase from 3,727,196 in the same period of 2024.
