Tourism revenue reached €458.6 million in October 2025, up 12.4% year-on-year. For January–October 2025, revenue totaled €3.43 billion, a 15.0% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
According to the Passengers Survey conducted by the Statistical Service, revenue from tourism in October 2025 was €458.6 million, representing an increase of 12.4% compared to €407.9 million in October 2024.
For the period of January–October 2025, total tourism revenue is estimated at €3,431.4 million, compared to €2,983.8 million in the same period of 2024, recording a 15.0% increase.
The average expenditure per person in October 2025 was €852.80, down 4.0% from €888.47 in October 2024.
Tourists from the United Kingdom, the largest market with 31.4% of tourists in October 2025, spent an average of €108.42 per day. Tourists from Israel, the second largest market with 11.1%, spent €132.12 per day, while tourists from Germany, the third largest with 7.8%, spent €111.79 per day.

Data is collected through personal interviews at Larnaka and Pafos airports, covering all travelers arriving in the government-controlled areas of Cyprus. The data excludes travelers arriving and departing illegally via ports and airports in the occupied areas.
