The retail trade turnover value increased by 4.6% and volume by 7.6% in November 2025 compared to the same month last year, according to official statistics.
The Turnover Index of Retail Trade, except of Motor Vehicles, for November 2025 shows an increase of 4.6% in turnover value and 7.6% in volume compared to November 2024.
The index covers retail activities classified under NACE Rev. 2 division 47 and uses 2021 as the base year (index = 100). The data is collected monthly via telephone or email and is transmitted to Eurostat.
The Turnover Value Index is calculated at current prices, while the Volume Index is adjusted for inflation using the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The indices are weighted averages based on the share of each retail activity in total sector turnover, derived from the 2021 survey results.
