The construction production index increased by 4.2%, and the output prices index rose by 3.7% in the third quarter of 2025, compared to previous periods.
The Index of Production in Construction during the third quarter of 2025 reached 125.93 units (base year 2021=100.00), recording an increase of 4.2% over the third quarter of 2024.
The Output Prices Index in Construction for the third quarter of 2025 reached 125.03 units (base year 2021=100.00), showing a decrease of 1.0% compared to the second quarter of 2025. Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the index increased by 3.7%.
From January to September 2025, the indices increased relative to the same period in 2024: 4.2% for production and 4.5% for output prices.

The Index of Production in Construction measures short-term changes in construction activity, reflecting volume changes at constant prices. The Output Prices Index measures changes in unit prices charged to clients, indicating overall cost inflation in construction.
Data are collected quarterly via telephone or email from active construction enterprises and supplemented by administrative sources. The indices are compiled according to EU Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 and are published unadjusted, with seasonal and working day adjustments also provided.
