Foreign trade statistics for November and December 2025

Final data for November 2025 and provisional data for December 2025 show changes in Cyprus’s imports and exports, including trade values, categories, and partner countries.

In December 2025, Cyprus’s total imports were €1,204.4 million, a 13.1% decrease from December 2024. Imports from EU countries were €789.3 million, and from third countries €415.1 million. Imports include vessel ownership transfers valued at €218.3 million.

Total exports in December 2025 amounted to €490.5 million, a 30.5% increase from December 2024. Exports to EU countries were €182.7 million, and to third countries €307.8 million, including vessel ownership transfers valued at €130.1 million.

From January to December 2025, total imports increased by 7.7% to €13,551.8 million, and total exports increased by 7.0% to €5,550.4 million. The trade deficit for the period was €8,001.4 million.

In November 2025, total imports were €1,043.9 million, a 10.1% decrease from November 2024. Exports of domestically produced products, including ships and aircraft supplies, were €283.9 million, a 16.1% increase from November 2024. Exports of foreign products increased by 4.7% to €144.9 million.

Main export categories for January–November 2025 included mineral fuels and oils (€2,188 million), halloumi cheese (€332.2 million), and pharmaceutical products (€318 million). Note: Data for December 2025 are provisional. Imports and exports are classified by partner country and involve specific methodological considerations, including changes in trade recording with the UK after 2020.
