Turnover value index of services and transport for the fourth quarter of 2025

The turnover value index for services and transport sectors in the fourth quarter of 2025 shows increases in several sectors compared to the same quarter of 2024, with detailed percentage changes provided.

The Turnover Value Index for the fourth quarter of 2025 recorded increases in various sectors compared to the same quarter of 2024. Notable increases include accommodation and food service activities (9.5%), real estate activities (5.7%), administrative and support services (4.1%), professional, scientific and technical activities (3.4%), information and communication activities (2.1%), and transport and storage activities (1.4%).

For the period January–December 2025, increases were observed in the same sectors, with accommodation and food services up by 9.5%, administrative and support services by 7.4%, professional, scientific and technical activities by 4.6%, information and communication by 4.3%, transport and storage by 2.8%, and real estate activities by 0.4% compared to 2024.

Table 1 presents the index values and percentage changes for the sectors in the fourth quarter of 2024 and 2025, as well as the annual change for 2025. Table 2 details the percentage changes within specific divisions of the sectors for the same periods.

The index uses 2021 as the base year (index value 100). It is calculated at current prices and follows the methodology outlined by the European regulation (EU) 2019/2152. Data are collected monthly from enterprises via telephone or email, and the index is transmitted to Eurostat, including seasonally and calendar-adjusted data.
