The European Banking Authority (EBA) has launched an open selection process to recruit its new Executive Director, following the appointment of its Chair, François‑Louis Michaud.
The European Banking Authority (EBA) has announced the launch of an open selection procedure to recruit its new Executive Director. This follows the appointment of François‑Louis Michaud as Chair of the EBA, who assumed his role on 16 April.
The Executive Director will work directly with the Chairperson and will be responsible for the operational management of the Authority, including developing and implementing its work programme and preparing Management Board meetings.
The selection will be based on merit, skills, and experience, particularly in financial supervision and regulation. The process will be open and transparent. The successful candidate will be selected by the EBA Board of Supervisors and appointed following confirmation by the European Parliament.
