The Tax Department has extended the deadline until August 20, 2026, for submitting the VAT return, paying VAT, and submitting the VIES summary table for the period ending June 30, 2026, due to summer holidays.
The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) announces that, by decision of the Tax Commissioner, the deadline for the timely submission of the VAT return and payment of VAT due for the period ending on June 30, 2026, as well as the submission of the Summary Table (VIES) for July 2026, has been extended until August 20, 2026.
This extension is granted due to the summer vacation period. After August 20, 2026, the submission of the VAT return, payment of VAT, and submission of the VIES table will be considered overdue and subject to financial charges and additional tax.
