Index of industrial output prices for July 2026 shows 4.4% annual increase

The industrial output prices index for July 2026 increased by 4.4% compared to July 2025, reaching 128.2 units. The index rose 2.0% from June 2026 and reflects price changes across various sectors.

The Index of Industrial Output Prices for July 2026 reached 128.2 units (base 2021=100), recording an increase of 4.4% compared to July 2025. The index increased by 2.0% from June 2026 to July 2026.

In July 2026, compared to June 2026, the index remained stable in mining and quarrying, while it increased in other sectors: electricity supply by 9.9%, manufacturing by 0.2%, and water supply and materials recovery by 0.2%.

Compared to July 2025, increases were recorded in all sectors: electricity supply (+14.0%), water supply and materials recovery (+5.6%), manufacturing (+2.1%), and mining and quarrying (+1.6%).

Within manufacturing, notable increases in July 2026 compared to July 2025 include electronic and optical products and electrical equipment (+11.0%), basic metals and fabricated metal products (+5.6%), furniture and machinery (+5.2%), and wood products (+4.3%). A slight decrease was observed in food, beverages, and tobacco (-0.1%).

Data collection involved surveys and administrative sources, with preliminary data for some sectors. The index is based on prices excluding VAT, discounts, and excise duties for domestic sales, and FOB prices for exports. It serves as an early indicator of inflationary pressures in the economy.
