The Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance announces the 9th SkillsCyprus 2026 competition, supporting youth skills development and participation in Euroskills 2027 in Germany, from October 29-31, 2026.
The Productivity Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance announces the 9th National Skills Competition, SkillsCyprus 2026, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides.
The competition is the largest skills event in Cyprus and offers young men and women the opportunity to showcase their skills in 22 specialties. Participants may qualify for the European Euroskills Competition 2027 in Germany, supported by industry and academic professionals.
The aim is to enhance the professional skills of youth and strengthen technical and vocational education to meet labor market needs.
The event will take place from October 29 to 31, 2026, at the State Fair in Nicosia and will be open to the public.
The Productivity Center encourages young people to select their preferred specialty and declare their interest in participating. It also invites experienced professionals to support the event as Experts by submitting their expressions of interest electronically via the official website.
