The total value of these permits reached €413.0 million, with a total area of 335.3 thousand square meters. These permits include construction for 1,728 dwelling units.
During January–April 2026, 2,915 permits were issued, up 35.1% from 2,157 permits in the same period of the previous year. The total value of permits increased by 46.1%, and the total area by 45.5%. The number of dwelling units increased by 65.0%.
Details by project type show residential permits at 477, non-residential at 432, civil engineering projects at 381, division of plots at 72, and road construction permits at 96 for April 2026. The data covers permits for new construction, demolitions, and re-issuances, excluding permit renewals and division permits.
Methodological information indicates data collection from local authorities, now transferred to Local Government Organizations (LGOs) from July 2024, with applications processed electronically via the “Ippodamos” system.
