The Price Index of Construction Materials for June 2026 reached 122.74 units (base year 2021=100). This represents an increase of 0.55% compared to the previous month, May 2026.
Compared to June 2025, the index increased by 3.12%. The main commodity categories with increases include metallic products (5.02%), products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (4.07%), electromechanical products (2.99%), minerals (2.49%), and mineral products (0.61%).
For the period January–June 2026, the index increased by 1.62% compared to the same period in 2025.
The index is based on data collected monthly from a sample of products and suppliers, excluding VAT. It reflects the evolution of construction material costs relative to the 2021 average. The weights used in the index are derived from import and local production values in 2021.
