Compared with March 2025, the largest positive change was in Agricultural Products (13.3%), while the largest negative change was in Electricity and Water (-12.9%). Compared with February 2026, the biggest change was in Petroleum Products (9.1%).
Major categories contributing to the annual change include Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages (6.2%), Clothing and Footwear (-5.8%), Educational Services (3.7%), and Restaurants and Accommodation Services (3.3%).
Month-to-month changes were most significant in Clothing and Footwear (3.9%), Transport (2.9%), and Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages (2.5%).
The largest positive contribution to the CPI change compared to March 2025 was from Recreation Services (2.82), while the largest negative contribution was from Petrol (-1.87).
Vegetables (0.80) had the largest positive impact on the CPI change compared to February 2026, and Electricity (-0.15) had the largest negative impact.
