Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation responds to Middle East crisis

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, an extraordinary meeting was held by the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), chaired by Mr. George Pantelides, with the participation of the Director General and Department Directors. The meeting assessed the economic and business implications of the military operations in the Middle East region.

OEB has established a special team to handle issues arising from the crisis. The team will collect requests, record problems, and coordinate with authorities to propose solutions.

The relevant State Authorities have mobilized to assist Cypriots and their families in affected areas.
