The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published the final technical package for version 4.3 of its reporting framework. This package introduces new reporting requirements for Third-Country Branches (TCBs) under the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) and supports a risk assessment data collection exercise by the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA).

The final draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on supervisory reporting of TCBs are in accordance with Article 48l(1) of the CRD, with the first reference date set for 31 March 2027.

For AMLA risk assessment reporting, the package introduces DPM and taxonomy components supporting the methodology to identify entities under AMLA supervision. The first reference date for this is 31 December 2026.

Additionally, the EBA has published a new Glossary Usage Exploration file to enhance usability. This file provides a structured view of the glossary content, facilitating understanding of concepts, definitions, and their relationships within the reporting framework. It aims to support impact assessments and promote a consistent understanding of the semantic model.

A draft version of the technical package was published on 17 April 2026. The final version incorporates stakeholder feedback, including industry input. The EBA may issue a targeted update (“hotfix”) at the end of September if critical issues arise during early implementation, to address urgent clarifications promptly.
