ECB to open its doors for the Night of the Museums on 25 April 2026

The European Central Bank will participate in Frankfurt’s Night of the Museums on 25 April 2026, opening its premises to the public with guided tours, art, architecture, and cultural activities.

The European Central Bank (ECB) will participate in Frankfurt’s Night of the Museums on Saturday, 25 April 2026, opening its premises in the Ostend district to the public. The event features guided tours, contemporary art, architecture, and cultural activities.

Visitors can explore the historic Grossmarkthalle, designed by Martin Elsaesser, and the modern high-rise complex by Coop Himmelb(l)au. Two guided tours will be available:

In addition, visitors can explore the ground floor at their own pace, including the ECB Visitor Centre, live jazz music, a public talk with Dr. Konrad Elsässer, and interactive quizzes on art and ECB’s work.

Public access is limited to the Grossmarkthalle and related areas. Registration opens from 7 to 21 April. More information and registration details are available on the event website.
