The European Commission has opened a public consultation on draft regulations for submitting beneficial ownership information. The consultation is open until December 24, 2025.
The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) informs that, according to the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (Companies Section), the European Commission has launched a public consultation on the draft Implementing Regulation concerning the forms for submitting information on the Beneficial Owner.
The consultation relates to the technical specifications and standards that will govern the Central Registers of Beneficial Ownership of the Member States, based on Article 62 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1624 and Article 10 of Directive (EU) 2024/1640.
The public consultation will remain open until December 24, 2025. Comments should be submitted directly to the European Commission via the official online platform.
