Final data for September 2025 and provisional data for October 2025 show changes in Cyprus’s imports and exports, including trade values, categories, and partner countries.
Foreign trade statistics for Cyprus for September 2025 and October 2025 have been published. Total imports in October 2025 were €1,153.3 million, a decrease of 8.9% compared to October 2024. Imports from EU countries were €654.8 million, and from third countries €498.5 million. Imports in October 2025 include vessel ownership transfers valued at €106.5 million.
Total exports in October 2025 were €388.9 million, down 13.0% from October 2024. Exports to EU countries were €108.6 million, and to third countries €280.3 million. Exports in October 2025 include vessel ownership transfers valued at €46.1 million.
From January to October 2025, total imports increased by 12.3% to €11,270.8 million, and total exports increased by 4.3% to €4,616.1 million. The trade deficit for this period was €6,654.7 million, compared to €5,606.7 million in the same period of 2024.
In September 2025, total imports were €1,211.0 million, an increase of 22.8% from September 2024. Exports of domestically produced products, including ships and aircraft provisions, were €300.2 million, up 44.8%. Domestic exports of industrial products were €291.9 million, and agricultural exports €7.1 million. Foreign product exports, including ships and aircraft provisions, were €197.6 million, up 34.6%.
Main export categories for January–September 2025 included mineral fuels and oils (€1,859.4 million), halloumi cheese (€288.3 million), and pharmaceutical products (€259.5 million).
