Imports, sales, and stocks of petroleum products in October 2025

In October 2025, petroleum product sales increased by 4.7% compared to October 2024, with notable rises in marine gasoil, aviation kerosene, and asphalt. Stocks decreased by 17.6% month-over-month.

In October 2025, total sales of petroleum products amounted to 141,540 tonnes, representing a 4.7% increase compared to October 2024. Significant increases were observed in marine gasoil (101.9%), aviation kerosene (5.9%), asphalt (44.9%), heavy fuel oil (26.8%), motor gasoline (4.6%), liquefied petroleum gases (3.6%), and road diesel (1.7%).

Sales of light fuel oil decreased by 53.5% and heating gasoil by 11.4%. Sales from filling stations increased by 3.0% to 61,904 tonnes.

Compared to September 2025, total sales declined by 2.2%, with decreases in marine gasoil (-22.5%), aviation kerosene (-2.9%), motor gasoline (-4.1%), and road diesel (-2.0%).

At the end of October 2025, total stocks of petroleum products decreased by 17.6% compared to the previous month.

From January to October 2025, total sales increased by 4.7% compared to the same period in 2024.

Data collection covers imports, sales from filling stations, sales to government and international organizations, ships, and stocks, focusing on petroleum companies and imports from the Electricity Authority of Cyprus and the manufacturing industry.
