Index of industrial output prices for June 2026 shows 2.3% annual increase

The industrial output prices index for June 2026 increased by 0.3% from May and 2.3% from June 2025, with an overall year-to-date increase of 0.8%. Sector-specific changes are detailed in the report.

The Index of Industrial Output Prices for June 2026 reached 125.8 units (base 2021=100), recording an increase of 0.3% compared to May 2026. Compared to June 2025, the index increased by 2.3%. For the period January–June 2026, the index increased by 0.8% compared to the same period in 2025.

In June 2026, compared to May 2026, the index increased in mining and quarrying by 0.3%, manufacturing by 0.3%, and electricity supply by 0.3%. It decreased in water supply and materials recovery by 0.2%. Compared to June 2025, all sectors showed increases: water supply and materials recovery by 5.8%, electricity supply by 3.6%, manufacturing by 1.8%, and mining and quarrying by 1.6%.

In manufacturing, specific subsectors experienced varied changes. The manufacture of electronic and optical products and electrical equipment increased by 10.8%, furniture and machinery manufacturing increased by 5.6% and 2.6% respectively, while food products, beverages, and tobacco decreased by 0.2%. No change was observed in textiles, wearing apparel, and leather products.
