The Index of Industrial Output Prices for October 2025 reached 122.7 units (base 2021=100), remaining stable compared to September 2025. Compared to October 2024, the index decreased by 0.5%. For the period January-October 2025, the index decreased by 0.4% compared to the same period in 2024.
In October 2025 compared to September 2025, the index remained stable in electricity supply, increased in water supply and materials recovery by 1.8%, and in mining and quarrying by 0.1%. A decrease was recorded in manufacturing (-0.2%).
Compared to October 2024, mining and quarrying increased by 8.8%, manufacturing by 0.3%, while electricity supply decreased by 4.5%, and water supply and materials recovery decreased by 0.6%.
In manufacturing, specific sectors showed varied changes. The manufacture of furniture, other manufacturing, and repair and installation of machinery increased by 3.3%. Electronic and optical products and electrical equipment increased by 2.3%. Other non-metallic mineral products increased by 1.6%. Paper and paper products and printing increased by 0.8%. Rubber and plastic products increased by 0.8%. Decreases were observed in food products, beverages, and tobacco products (-0.5%) and basic metals and fabricated metal products (-0.2%).
Data for September and October 2025 in electricity supply and water supply and materials recovery sectors are preliminary. The index is compiled based on prices collected from enterprises, with prices for domestic sales excluding VAT and discounts, and FOB prices for exports. The index reflects monthly price changes relative to 2021 and is used as an early indicator of inflationary pressures.
