The Labour Force Survey (LFS) for the third quarter of 2025 reports a total labour force of 530,992 persons, representing 65.6% of the population. The employment rate was 62.9%, with 509,211 employed persons. The unemployment rate was 4.1%, with 21,781 unemployed persons.

Compared to the same quarter in 2024, the labour force increased from 516,127 to 530,992 persons, and employment increased from 493,054 to 509,211 persons. The unemployment rate decreased from 4.5% to 4.1%.

Employment among those aged 20-64 was 81.6%, with a higher rate for males (86.6%) than females (76.8%). The employment share in services was 81.4%, manufacturing 16.3%, and agriculture 2.3%. Part-time employment constituted 8.8% of total employment.

Unemployment among youth aged 15-24 was 13.1%, with males at 14.1% and females at 12.1%. The majority of unemployed persons searched for work for less than six months.
