The price index of construction materials for October 2025 reached 119.03 units, with a 1.58% increase compared to October 2024. The index increased by 1.29% for January–October 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
The Price Index of Construction Materials for October 2025 reached 119.03 units (base year 2021=100), recording a marginal increase of 0.06% compared to the previous month.
Compared to October 2024, the index increased by 1.58%. Main commodity category increases included minerals (4.03%), mineral products (3.30%), electromechanical products (1.57%), and products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals, and plastics (1.04%). Metallic products decreased by 0.86%.
For the period January–October 2025, the index increased by 1.29% compared to the same period in 2024.
The index reflects the evolution of construction material costs incurred by contractors, based on monthly data collection from a sample of products and suppliers, excluding VAT. The indices are weighted averages based on import and local production values from 2021.
