The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry’s Consumer Protection Service is conducting a public electronic consultation from April 29, 2026, on bills harmonizing national law with EU Directive 2023/2225 on consumer credit agreements.
The Consumer Protection Service of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry has announced a public electronic consultation starting on April 29, 2026.
The consultation concerns a package of amending bills related to harmonization with Directive (EU) 2023/2225 of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated 18 October 2023, on credit agreements for consumers and repealing Directive 2008/48/EC.
This package complements the transposition of the directive into national law, following a prior public consultation on the bill “The Consumer Credit Agreements Law of 2025,” which was open from August 12, 2025, to September 15, 2025.
