The Ministry of Health has opened a public consultation on the proposed ‘Health Certificates Law of 2026’. Comments can be submitted until September 15, 2026, via the e-Consultation platform.
The Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) announced that the Ministry of Health has initiated a public consultation on the proposed bill titled “The Issuance of Health Certificates Law of 2026”.
The bill aims to establish a unified framework for issuing health certificates to employees, professionals, and other individuals requiring such certificates for employment, professional practice, or licensing purposes.
The legislation covers requirements for holding a health certificate, the issuance procedure, authorized doctors, validity duration, and provisions for suspension or non-issuance.
Interested members of the public can submit comments, observations, and suggestions through the electronic platform e-Consultation, following the instructions provided in the attached invitation.
The consultation period is open until Tuesday, 15 September 2026.
