The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) has announced a public consultation on the regulations concerning the imposition of fees related to the implementation of the NIS2 Directive on Network and Information Systems security.

The framework under consultation specifies fees to be paid by organizations classified as core or significant entities, based on legislation and decisions by the competent authority.
Targeted organizations include businesses in sectors such as energy, transport, hospitals, digital services, telecommunications, cloud, data centers, and critical infrastructure.
In addition to cybersecurity compliance obligations, organizations will face new financial burdens through fees for supervision and implementation of the framework.
