In October 2025, the number of registered unemployed persons was 7,099, a decrease from September 2025 and October 2024, reflecting a downward trend in unemployment.
In October 2025, the number of registered unemployed persons at the District Labour Offices reached 7,099. Seasonally adjusted data shows a decrease to 9,476 from 9,671 in September 2025.
Compared to October 2024, there was a decrease of 682 persons, or 8.8%. The decline is mainly attributed to sectors such as trade, construction, manufacturing, financial, and insurance activities, as well as to the reduction in newcomers to the labour market.

The data concerns persons aged 15 and over who are actively seeking employment and registered at Labour Offices. The figures exclude self-employed persons, part-time job seekers, and those seeking employment in specific areas or for specific employers.
Seasonal adjustment removes seasonal effects to reveal underlying trends, using the JDemetra+ 2.2.2 software and the TRAMO and SEATS algorithms. Revisions to previous months’ estimates may occur due to model updates.
From June 15, 2021, the registration process changed with the termination of automatic renewal and the activation of an online platform for new registrations and renewals. This may affect data comparability.
