Overall turnover increased by 5.0% to €20,304.2 million. Breakdown by division shows:
Production value reached €5,748.1 million, up 6.3%. Value added increased by 6.3% to €3,632.5 million, with:
Employment in the trade sector grew by 1.0% to 78,300 persons. Employment in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles was 9,800 persons, with wholesale trade employing 27,000 and retail trade 41,500 persons.
Data covers 2,357 enterprises classified under NACE Rev. 2 divisions 45, 46, and 47. Data collection methods include email, administrative sources, personal, and phone interviews.
