In the third quarter of 2025, road freight transport in Cyprus increased by 1.4% in weight and 16.4% for freight from and to Cyprus compared to the same period in 2024.
The Statistical Service announced the release of road freight transport figures for the third quarter of 2025.
During July–September 2025, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 1.4% compared to the same period in 2024. The weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus increased by 16.4%.
For January–September 2025, the total weight of goods transported increased by 0.7%, and freight from and to Cyprus increased by 8.7% compared to the same period in 2024.
Data are collected from vehicles registered in Cyprus with load capacity over 3 tonnes and include national and international carriage of goods. The data are transmitted to Eurostat according to EU Regulation No 70/2012.
