Sales of industrial commodities of local production increased by 3.7% in 2024

The Statistical Service announced the publication of detailed data on the sales of commodities produced by industrial units in Cyprus in 2024, in both quantity (where available) and value.

In 2024, the total sales of industrial commodities of local production reached €4,771.8 million, compared to €4,601.6 million in 2023, representing an increase of 3.7%.

Indicative product sales in 2024 included:

• Halloumi cheese: 46.1 thousand tonnes, €364.1 million
• Pasteurized milk and fresh cream: 57.8 million litres, €82.7 million
• Fresh fruit juice: 75.0 thousand tonnes, €54.0 million
• Prepared meat products: €51.4 million
• Fresh bakery and pastry products: €373.8 million
• Beer: 43.1 million litres, €57.0 million
• Wines: 10.4 million litres, €35.7 million
• Soft drinks: 14.7 million litres, €23.5 million
• Bottled mineral water: 216.9 million litres, €46.7 million
• Chemical products: €80.6 million
• Pharmaceutical products and preparations: €363.3 million
• Cement and clinker: €138.3 million
• Ready-mixed concrete: €257.6 million
