In May 2026, the total sales of petroleum products amounted to 127,538 tonnes, representing a decrease of 5.1% compared to May 2025. Notable declines were observed in marine gasoil (-13.3%), aviation kerosene (-7.5%), kerosene (-23.6%), asphalt (-20.8%), heavy fuel oil (-18.2%), heating gasoil (-11.5%), road diesel (-4.1%), and motor gasoline (-0.3%). An increase was recorded only in light fuel oil (19.0%).
Sales from filling stations totaled 56,867 tonnes, down 2.6% from May 2025. Compared to April 2026, total sales increased by 7.7%, driven by rises in aviation kerosene (13.2%), road diesel (8.8%), and motor gasoline (8.3%), while marine gasoil decreased by 8.9%.
Total stocks at the end of May 2026 increased by 7.1% compared to the previous month.
From January to May 2026, total sales increased by 3.4% compared to the same period in 2025.
