Tourism revenue reached €423.1 million in June 2026, up 0.2% from the previous year. For January–June 2026, revenue declined 11.4% compared to 2025, totaling €1.221 billion.
According to the Passengers Survey conducted by the Statistical Service, revenue from tourism in June 2026 was €423.1 million, representing an increase of 0.2% compared to June 2025 (€422.3 million).
For the period of January–June 2026, tourism revenue is estimated at €1,221.3 million, down 11.4% from €1,378.1 million in the same period of 2025.
In June 2026, the average expenditure per person was €863.62, an increase of 2.0% from €847.01 in June 2025.
Tourists from the United Kingdom, the largest market with 33.0% of tourists in June 2026, spent on average €103.98 per day. Tourists from Israel, the second largest market with 16.4%, spent €174.27 per day. Tourists from Poland, the third largest market with 7.3%, spent €84.37 per day.

Data is collected through personal interviews at Larnaka and Pafos airports and covers all travelers arriving and departing from the government-controlled areas of Cyprus.
