The turnover value index for services and transport sectors increased in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, with notable growth in professional, scientific, technical activities, and transport sectors.
The Turnover Value Index for the second quarter of 2026 recorded increases in several sectors compared to the same quarter of 2025. Notably, professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 3.4%, transport and storage activities by 2.1%, information and communication by 2.1%, and real estate activities by 1.6%. Decreases were observed in accommodation and food service activities (-3.1%) and administrative and support service activities (-2.2%).
For the period January–June 2026, increases were recorded in the same sectors compared to the first half of 2025, with professional, scientific and technical activities up by 3.5%, transport and storage by 2.8%, real estate by 2.1%, and information and communication by 1.3%. Decreases occurred in administrative and support services (-1.0%) and accommodation and food services (-0.7%).
The data is based on the index with 2021 as the base year (index=100). The index is calculated at current prices and reflects quarterly changes in turnover relative to the 2021 average.
