Turnover value index of services and transport increases in first quarter 2026

The Turnover Value Index for services and transport sectors during the first quarter of 2026 recorded increases in several sectors compared to the same quarter in 2025.

Key sector changes include:

• Accommodation and food service activities: 3.9%
• Transport and storage activities: 3.5%
• Professional, scientific, and technical activities: 3.0%
• Real estate activities: 2.8%
• Administrative and support service activities: 0.8%
• Information and communication activities: 0.2%

The data is based on the Turnover Index with 2021 as the base year, calculated from quarterly data collected by the Statistical Service of Cyprus. The index reflects short-term developments in the sectors of transport, accommodation, information and communication, real estate, professional, scientific, technical, and administrative activities.
